Julie Robben Linesberry isn't a career politician—she's spent her career serving this community in ways that actually matter.
For more than 45 years, Julie has worked as a Realtor across Alexandria, Arlington, Falls Church, and Fairfax, helping generations of families put down roots in the communities she now seeks to represent. She knows what it takes to make homeownership possible in Northern Virginia—and she's seen firsthand how rising costs have put that dream out of reach for too many families.
But Julie's commitment to this community goes far beyond her professional life.
She served for more than a decade on the Alexandria Electoral Board, including terms as Chair and Secretary, overseeing dozens of elections and safeguarding the integrity of our democratic process. She knows how elections work because she's spent years making sure they're run fairly.
Julie is a lifelong advocate for women and girls. Her more than 50 years of involvement with the Girl Scouts—including leadership roles at the local, regional, and national levels—reflects a deep commitment to mentoring young women and building the next generation of leaders. The Alexandria Commission on Women recognized her dedication with the Marguerite Payez Award for Outstanding Community Service.
Her service extends to healthcare and faith. Julie has served as President of the Inova Alexandria Hospital TWIG Auxiliary and remains active in ministries at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Why She's Running
Julie has watched housing costs spiral while Richmond politicians offer only excuses. She's seen one-party rule deliver decades of promises with little accountability. And after November 2025 handed Democrats every lever of power in state government, she knew someone needed to draw the line.
Julie is running for State Senate to fight for affordability and to be the independent voice District 39 deserves—someone who answers to her neighbors, not party bosses.
